Since the date of my delivery I have been deceived regarding the integrity of this business’ character. After hours on hold and calling from two different phones no resolution has been made. September 1 – furniture arrived, delivery personnel reported all the damages upon arrival, I was requested to send pictures (81) in total, then silence: calls received from the customer care number when answered the party hangs up waits a few minutes then calls again. Never able to create a claim because the claim could not be recorded until the trunk arrived back at the warehouse. Still waiting. I have not spoken to store supervisor/escalation manager are not the same. Pending call from supervisor.
I am having issues with city furniture also.
I purchased over 12 thousand dollars of furniture in Ft. Myers store in May 2021.
I purchased the one year in home service.
When i called to redeem the refund since I did not use it, I was told a gift certificate was sent to me which I never received.
First…City furniture had the wrong name on my address and I tried to correct it many times but like you they do not answer the phones.
Second…I was not told a gift card would be issued. They just said I would be refunded if not used.
third….Now they tell me since the gift cards were not used, they have expired and cannot be re issued.
Note the in home service cost me $567.40.
This is a lot of money to me!!!!
I am going to call corporate today since custoimer service won’t help me nor will the manager help me. He said they gave me a discount on my orders so that covered the cost of the in home service.
This is bull since I did not put the service on until I got a price for my furniture after the discount.
If I have any luck at corporate I will repost with my issue …but until then buyer beware of this store.
