Hello Yvonne, this is Daniel Vence my Claim number is 8750578920000001, I had an accident on the January 2nd 2023 and had coverage on this date ,I lost my car due to not being able to pay to get it out of impound, so I proceeded to cancel with GEICO on the 19th of January 2023, I had called and was told the claim was being handled and that it would be covered since I had coverage on the date of the incident, come to find out for some reason they had gone back and canceled of Dec 31st of 2022 so it was not covered, I have documentation for my coverage and email confirmation on the date I canceled and that my claim was filed, I tried calling my adjuster and she didn’t seem to want to help me even though I have documentation I even have the name of the person I canceled with, the adjusters name is val Martinez Ishe told me that this would probably not get overturned even though this was a mistake on geico s side, I went into the gieco location of state street and 2200 s salt lake City UT, they tried to helpe but when they called val she told them she had no email address to send my documentation and when we asked to speak to a supervisor ahe refused, it made me feel like she didnt want to help and that this was personal, i dont want to contact legal help i just want the coverage i had payed for i have all my documentation proof and uploaded it on your site I just want this handled other wise I will be stuck with 28000 dollars of debt when it should have been covered, sorry for the inconvienence of all this please contact me back my email is em1k20si@gmail.com, hope to hear from you soon and thank you
We have been a GIECO customer for over 10 years but I am in the process of receiving quotes from the other 10 companies that serve our area. My reason for leaving GIECO is due to stupid regulations and errors done by GIECO. This month we have been receiving e-mail threats of cancellation from GIECO reason for this is they could not find the drivers license number of Freda Morescki who is also on the policy. GIECO has been covering both of us for over 10 years!!! WE did comply and send in the information requested but today we again received another e-mail regarding cancellation if the information is not received by the 18th of Nov. We called and talked to some person in underwriting and were informed they could not find the information at GIECO. They would not accept verbal numbers for someone who was insured for over 10 years. WE were advised we must take a photo of wife’s Arizona drivers license front and back and e-mail the photos to an address I was given. Thought someone in this big company might want to know how the underwriting department is working. I know we are just a small customer but you might not want to lose too many.
