Hi, My name is Oksana Krempokha and I am inquiring about the status of my car delivery. Here is the VIN# KNDPXCAG4P7079410.
Order was placed in April, 2023 and still to date I am unable to receive the exact date of delivery.
Dealership is not giving me proper information, except its in transit.
Very frustrating it is to wait as I was told car will be here in 2 months but after 4 months of anxiously waiting, still there is no specific information to when I will have my car in possession.
As a first time buyer of Kia, I don’t have a good experience, I feel its very unprofessional to not have a proper communication with the customer.
If its in transit then what’s the exact status, is it still in production or at port for clearance.
Will appreciate the feedback.
Thank you for your time & consideration.
Dear Sir/Madam,
With this email, I want to inform you about a problem for which we cannot find a solution for a long period of time. Namely, we have a vehicle KIA Sportage 1.6 (SK 9753 AO) from 2018, regularly serviced and still under warranty. Two defects were reported to your service (Macedonia KIA official service Skopje) in a timely manner, but still after more than three years no solution was found. I am sending you a calendar of events:
24-02-2020 (travelled 33330 km)
It has been reported that the sound occurs when the vehicle will start in 1st speed.
09-07-2021 (distance 54210 km)
Changed the sealing for the coupling (due to oil leakage)
25-08-2021 (No kilometers recorded)
Reported that there is difficulty in turning in 1st speed and it feels empty.
(Service answer: There is no serious problem)
08-02-2022 (distance 63107 km)
After 2 clutch replacement, at least that’s what was said, even though the one that was replaced was neither shown nor returned again, the same sound occurs when starting in 1st speed – the same sound that was given during the previous reports.
Absolutely the same problem, sound when starting in 1st speed.
Although there was a response from our side and it was confirmed by KIA service that this is a problem with the Kia Sportage and that there is absolutely no solution for such a problem.
(Service answer: There is no serious problem)
26-09-2022 (distance 70166 km)
It was reported again that there is a problem with the clutch, but it was not intervened at all in this regard, and it was additionally reported that the low oil level light was on.
It has been confirmed by the service center that it takes 3 times for the same problem to occur before report to Kia central.
From the side of the service, we only received oil in the engine, we were directed to buy oil and have it as a spare, to drive like that and if we have the same problem again, we should contact the service.
(Service answer: There is no serious problem)
22-12-2022 (distance 74351 km)
The problem with the sound when starting in 1st speed has been reported again, and there are still difficulties when starting. Additional noise when driving from 2nd to 3rd speed and looseness of the gearbox.
I resubmitted the report, but I don’t think that the reported problems have been resolved at all.
The vehicle was returned and we have the same problems.
(Service answer: There is no serious problem)
04-05-2023 (distance 80590 km)
Reported that at 80020 km low oil level warning light is back on.
By phone from the KIA service center, the previously purchased oil was directed to be delivered and when we will be able to take the vehicle back to the service center for inspection.
All previously mentioned problems were additionally reported and the vehicle was returned in absolutely the same condition. By the way, we were told that the control light for low oil level should light up 3 times in order to receive additional instructions from Kia in order to intervene further and seek a solution.
(Service answer: There is no serious problem)
25-08-2023 (distance 84986 km)
The low oil light is back on. Reported to the director of the service by the telephone and we were informed that we are waiting for an answer from KIA for at least two weeks. Added oil (1 liter).
I HAVE NO PATIENCE ANYMORE AND IT IS NOT CLEAR HOW FOR MORE THAN THREE YEARS WE CAN’T FIND A RESOLUTION FOR THEESE TWO PROBLEMS. DO YOU WAIT FOR THE GUARANTEE PERIOD TO EXPIRE AND THEN REPAIR THE CAR BY OURSELF? THIS IS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR OF AN OFFICIAL SERVICE IN RELATION TO PROBLEM RESOLUTION.
FOR THE NEW VEHICLE WITH 85000 KM PASSED IT IS UNACCEPTABLE THAT THERE ARE PROBLEMS AND NO ONE IN THE SERVICE DOES NOT KNOW ANYTHING AND TRY TO GET A RESOLUTION FOR THE SAME. ARE WE BUYING THE VEHICLES ONLY FOR A SPECIFIC PERIOD OF TIME (WHILE THE WARRANTY LASTS) SO WHO WILL IT SUIT.
I WANT YOU TO LOOK AT THIS COMPLAINT AND I ASK YOU TO PROVIDE A RESOLUTION.
Sincerely yours,
Dragica Zendelovska
