I went to purchase a plastic gutter as I have in the past. I asked the guy working in the department to cut 2 feet off of it so it could fit in my vehicle (just as I did last time) , but at a different menards. They would not. I took it to the manager at the front of the store and explained to him the same thing. He said “they have nothing to cut it with” I choose not to argue with him or to correct him and tell him that this is a hardware store and there are plenty of things here that could could cut plastic, but I did not. This is the store in Evansville, IN 5.23.2023 @ 12:30 customer service is not what it used to be. I drove nearly 40 miles and drove back with nothing. I did have several other things in my cart but bougt nothing.I will never go there again!
