  1. Hello, last year I purchased a used 2018 Ford Escape, yesterday I had the recall addressed, this car only has 60, 800 miles on it, after I picked it up, It now needs a new transmission. Its my understanding, my dealership, was able to get 4K payed for you buy you, since my warranty just expired. but I feel this should be for the full amount, it’s too close to the expiration time, please cut me a bone here. They stated it will take 6 to 8 weeks, with no vehicle to use in the interim. pay for the full repair, and I’ll keep the car, otherwise, I’ll make it my life mission to tell my story about how poorly I was treed at the dealership by the service manager, and all the hoops I’ve had to jump through. my car is at apple ford in red lion pa. I hope you can help.

  2. Bought a 2019 Ford Edge, brand new just off the truck. Ended up with a hairline crack in the engine block with no warnings or indicators at $62,000. Ford said it would cost $6000, because of course the warranty is no longer valid. After some back and forth and making them aware of some recalls, we had it fixed for $2500. Less than a year later, I’m turning onto a main road and I hear a loud pop! The transmission is out and gonna cost us $9000!!!! Sounds like this is the same story for most Ford owners

    • How were you able to deal with Ford? I can’t get around just talking to customer services representatives and not someone who can actually make a decision

      • Fordparts.com sucks. do not buy from them. Terrible (worker at home) customer service. They are no help whatsoever. It’s really sad. I have been waiting a month for my parts when I was told that they would ship in 2-3 days. They are the worst.

  6. My husband I purchased a used 2020 Ford Explorer Platinum for over $42,000. That’s not at all chump change for us. We work hard to buy the second most expense item in our life’s. We bought this Explorer at the Dodge Dealership in Pueblo CO. We drove it for four weeks and a 4×4 red warning light comes on. We had about 34,000 miles. Took to FORD in Pueblo CO, it’s under warranty. They said it would be 30 days before it ships (back order! Story of everyone’s lives these days). Well about 37 days go by and part is delivered. Then we call to find out WHEN our car will be ready? Service department “Ken” said a special hex nut was back ordered! Ken said they were going to drive some where Monday to see if they had it. Who’s “they”? I guess they don’t have it but Ken did not call us to update us so YES…. I had to call to follow up. As usual you leave a voice message and they have followed up the same day once out of 20 calls but normally next day or like recently, not at all. Ken just told my husband the part wouldn’t be in till JULY 28!!! They have had our Ford outside in the 100 degree heat and possible still to have hail. We keep our vehicles in the garage ALWAYS. I feel FORD just doesn’t really care about their customers. *** Let’s put the shoe on the other foot. If it was even the General Mgr at this Ford where our car has been outside for 6 WEEKS, long then we have owned it, I would bet that they would locate that part within a few days. They would be contacting every Ford dealership. Somebody has the PART! This is probably the last Ford we will buy. My husband also bought a 2021 Ford F150 brand new. We had an issue with that too while traveling in 2022! Quality has gone down hill for Ford.
I WISH I COULD JUST GET OUR MONEY BACK.

  7. Hello
The end of 2017 i purchase a Ford Edge titanium model . Within the first yr the engine blew , Ford graciously fix that i had only had my car a short time . When my car came back it never drove the same. I brought it in a few times they could not see anything wrong , eventually I had to replace the vacuum fuel system … Shortly after that my break line snapped as i was driving . Luckily for them I did not die or anyone else , they replaced that and said it was covered . 6 months after that my transmission broke and now needs to be replaced . 8600.00 Im not sure how a brand new car can have all these things go wrong in 5 yrs and no one tried to make things right and now my 5 yr old car is worthless. And i am out thousands. I’m sad! I’m angry ! I want someone to say they could help! I purchased extended warranty but because i drive to much it is voided .

  8. James Farley Ford CEO and President –
I am pleased to say I have been a Ford guy my entire life and have been very happy with your products. I am reaching out today in a plea for help for my family. We are full time RV’ers and have trusted our towing to a F-350 it is a 2019 with 25k and have had a warranty RO concerning the ring and pinion open since it April.
The short story is we have been bounced around dealer to dealer throwing parts at it and making things worse. Some dealers won’t touch it because it has been worked on by other dealers. Ford customer care service has sent me in circles from one agent to another and then that one is on vacation, one circle after another. With no results to be had.

I don’t know where else to reach out for help in getting our warranty claim taken care of to ensure the safety of my family as we travel this great nation.

    Proud Ford owner, Nick Steinman

  9. I am hoping this will go to the CEO person in charge!! I hear you are no longer going to make Ford EDGE!!!! Oh, please tell me this is not true? I have a 2011 burgundy Edge. I LOVE it!!! I have been wanting to buy another one but I cannot afford one through these car dealers. I was hoping that I could get a new one in burgundy color from the factory. From the owner of Ford. I can pay $200. a month to you personally. I’m 70 will be 71 in Oct. I’m on a pension and just with my husband dying and this house I just can’t afford a new one. Well you have read my plea, just hoping my wish could come true for this old ugly woman who has done her best to keep a roof over my families heads and mine and LOVE your cars and trucks. Thank you Hoping I could hear from the CEO so that I know he or she has read this. Thank you all
